Max is one of my favorite newborns and I have the pleasure of photographing his first year. Although he didn’t want to sleep during his session, he eventually gave up and passed out and I got lots of adorable images for his parents, both awake and asleep.
I love having newborns awake and alert, too, but his parents had their heart set on sleepy images. He was 3-weeks-old for his newborn photography session so he was definitely less sleepy than a younger baby would have been. His mom was so excited that he smiled for the camera while he was awake!

His little baby feet were just so adorable! I love all of the little baby details!
His daddy is in aviation, so we had to get a picture with aviator glasses. It is the image they picked to have on his birth announcement. It makes me laugh every time I see it!
