How gorgeous is this little lady?! Toddlers are one of the most challenging and rewarding subjects to photograph. This little lady was such a ham for her session, but she definitely made us work for it!! I wish I had pictures to show of me behind the scenes quacking my duck quacker (that looks like a duck-bill which I got at Ride the Ducks in Seattle).
I looked ridiculous but I always do everything I can to get those beautiful smiles out of children. She had the most beautiful bright blue eyes and such a pretty and shy little smile. This first photo of her is one of my favorite’s I have ever taken. To me, it shows the innocent pondering of a young child. She was looking at her swinging feet and obviously thinking about something deep.
I love capturing these moments…the ones in between the smiles! While I love capturing what a child looks like, I really love capturing what they are like. Their soul. What makes them different than all the other children. That’s what makes the session unique to each family.
