This adorable little boy is Beau. He was 3-weeks-old at his newborn photography session and was definitely not the best sleeper I’ve had. Although he really, really disliked being moved, I still got some amazing images of him for his parents to treasure.
The image of him and his mom is one of my absolute favorites I’ve ever taken. Family images are very important to me and treasured by new parents so I try to make sure I get them at every session. I also got a lot of adorable details of him. I loved his cute little feet…so tiny and perfect.
I am in the process of designing a heirloom album for them and can’t wait to share the finished product! They are going to cherish that album full of images from their newborn session for years, and it’s rated for 100+ years, so they will be able to pass it on as their legacy for generations. I imagine that Beau will snuggle up with his mom in a few years and look through each page as they talk about the day he was born and all of the funny things that happened in those first weeks of life. Parenthood is a big adjustment, after all!
