This is a gorgeous, handmade heirloom album that I custom designed for a newborn photography family, the MacDonald's. She chose the Caribbean hand-stretched linen cover option and I think it goes perfect with her session and also matches the decor in her home. She also purchased an additional album for her parents for Christmas. I can't imagine a better gift!

I am also in the process of designing 2 more heirloom albums for other newborn clients. This album is by far my favorite product and also the favorite of my clients. I love getting their images off their computer and into their hands in a way they can enjoy for years to come. I imagine that they will enjoy sitting with their children as they grow and reminiscing on their early memories of them. My son loves looking through his albums and loves when I tell him stories about the images. We sit for hours talking about when he was "little" (because he doesn't realize he's still little to me). Later, they can pass this book on to their children and their children's children. I can't tell you what I would give to have an album like this from my grandmother's childhood, or even my mother's.

How gorgeous is this little lady?! Toddlers are one of the most challenging and rewarding subjects to photograph. This little lady was such a ham for her session, but she definitely made us work for it!! I wish I had pictures to show of me behind the scenes quacking my duck quacker (that looks like a duck-bill which I got at Ride the Ducks in Seattle). I looked ridiculous but I always do everything I can to get those beautiful smiles out of children. She had the most beautiful bright blue eyes and such a pretty smile. This first photo of her is one of my favorite's I have ever taken. To me, it shows the innocent pondering of a young child. She was looking at her swinging feet and obviously thinking about something deep. I love capturing these moments...the ones in between the smiles!   Pembroke pines childrenmiami newborn photographerblue eyed toddler girlmiami child photography natural cute child photographytoddler girl in pearlssweet toddler girlgorgeous little girl

I know! I am just about 30 and have never been to a real wedding...sad, right? It is, but I had the time of my life. It was seriously the most fun I have had in years! And there is noting better than spending time with friends and family!!! And did I mention how handsome my little man looked in his tuxedo?! Adorable is an understatement! I might be biased, but I'm pretty sure he's the cutest kid I've ever seen! miami fl child photographerboy in window
On another note, I am usually the person with the camera up to my face for an entire event. I had multiple opportunities to photograph the bride, the happy couple together, the bridesmaids...and so on...and who did I photograph? The kids 🙂  I always gravitate toward the kids!! All of you mommas out there know why! They are the most interesting and fun. They are always doing something outrageous, funny, awkward, or cute...always! And so I pulled my camera out when the kids (my son, the ring bearer, and Lucy, the flower girl) were being really cute in the Limo. And how cute is that last one!! The two little one's are all dressed up and ready to go, but hesitantly looking out the window to figure out what is going on. I'm so glad I didn't miss that moment! Now you ask, "How did they do?" They did surprisingly well getting down the aisle! After we walked down the aisle, we sat in the front and watched Frozen (Lucy's favorite) silently, and I fed my little man half-melted, soggy Tootsie Rolls that I had shoved in my dress. Lol! And it worked great. Chocolate is my secret weapon! We had only a few random, loud outbursts from them and we were super proud at how well they did. And no wedding post would be complete without a photo of the bride 🙂  And while my settings weren't ideal, and the bride is a little out of focus, I love this photo and know the rest of the bridesmaids will, too (besides Tiffany because your head is hidden 😉 )! brides and bridesmaidsbouquetsCongratulations Becky and Jim!!!!!! This session was planned with care. This little ladies mom sewed her beautiful purple pants by hand and handpicked the rest of her outfit. She books a session for each of her daughters birthdays, and this was her 4th 🙂 We already had to postpone our session due to the weather and she wanted to get her photos done before her 4th birthday. We finally agreed that this was the day because there was only a 30% chance of rain. Well, needless to say, it rained the entire session. And by rained, I mean it down-poured! The whole time!! So we improvised and I have to say that it is one of my favorite sessions, even if it didn't go at all as planned! miami childrenmiami newborn and childrenmiami newborn photographerlonely little girlbeautiful little girlhappy 4th birthdaylittle girl jumpinggorgeous little girl Are you looking for a Miami children's photographer?
